WASHINGTON COUNTY CORRUPTION AT ITS FINEST – CASE IN POINT!

David B. Triemert’s website, Washington County Corruption, is a public memorializing of his ongoing legal battle with Washington County (since March 2011) that arises out of a questionable mortgage foreclosure sale wherein Triemert, a building contractor, alleges that the Washington County Sheriff unlawfully voided/ extinguished a mechanic’s lien held by him and his company encumbering certain real property in Washington County, Minnesota, with the Sheriff’s Office being officially vacant at the time of said sale. Triemert further alleges that all mortgage foreclosure sales, sheriff sales, and others acts of the sheriff held or performed in Washington County prior to January 6th, 2011, were illegal and are null and void (See PDF link for Amended Criminal Complaint against Sheriff William Hutton)

THE COVER UP & CORRUPTION THAT FOLLOWED (in a nutshell)

Upon Triemert’s discovery of the alleged unlawful acts of Sheriff Hutton, Triemert filed a criminal complaint against Sheriff William Hutton, through his chief deputy sheriff (2 misdemeanor counts of Mn. Stat. 609.435 OFFICER NOT FILING SECURITY, and 1 gross misdemeanor count of Mn. Stat. 609.43 MISCONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE), and he also filed a Tort Claim for damages against Washington County in excess of $200,000.

Washington County Chief Deputy Sheriff, Daniel Starry, consulted with Washington County Attorney’s Office in regard to the complaint against Hutton and responded that Triemert’s "Document was without legal effect." How asinine! Around this same time, Washington County responded to Triemert’s Tort Claim through a letter by Nigel Mendez of Carlson & Associates, LTD, in essence stating that Mr. Hutton complied with all relevant statutes (including the statute Triemert alleges Mendez completely butchered to prove his point), the office of Sheriff was not vacant, and that Washington County would not voluntarily provide Triemert any payment or remedy. The fight was on!

Triemert then wrote the Washington County Attorney’s Office. Assistant County Attorney, Richard Hodsdon replied to Triemert’s letter stating in effect that their office represents the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and as such he would not comment and exercised their attorney client privilege. Why would the Washington County Attorney’s Office crawl under the rock of "attorney client privilege" if Triemert’s criminal complaint against Sheriff Hutton "was of no legal effect"?

Triemert then filed a sworn criminal complaint against Chief Deputy Daniel Starry (1 gross misdemeanor count of Mn. Stat. 609.43 MISCONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE, and 1 felony count of Mn. Stat. 609.495 AIDING AN OFFENDER), and a criminal complaint against Assistant County Attorney Richard Hodsdon (1 gross misdemeanor count of Mn. Stat. 609.43 MISCONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE, and 1 felony count of Mn. Stat. 609.495 AIDING AN OFFENDER). Said complaints were filed with Washington County Attorney, Pete Orput.

Washington County Attorney, Pete Orput, had at a minimum, a duty to present Triemerts complaints against Hutton, Starry, and Hodsdon to the grand jury under Minnesota Statute 628.61 (3) MATTERS INQUIRED INTO, "the Grand Jury shall inquire into the willful and corrupt misconduct in office of all public officers in the county", but failed or refused to do so. Triemert then filed a criminal complaint against Washington County Attorney Pete Orput (1 gross misdemeanor count of Mn. Stat. 609.43 MISCONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE, and 1 felony count of Mn. Stat. 609.495 AIDING AN OFFENDER), with Washington County Assistant Chief Judge, John C. Hoffman. By all rights, Triemert could have filed many more charges against Pete Orput but Triemert was running out of steam – perhaps the effects of Legal Abuse Syndrome (YouTube) were beginning to set in with the knowing that all of his efforts to date were getting him nowhere closer to realizing any form of justice from those we entrust the equitable dispensing of justice from.

Judge Hoffman responded by letter stating that he is not allowed to practice law and therefor he would not be taking any action on them. Triemert then filed a criminal complaint against Washington County Assistant Judge John C. Hoffman (4 gross misdemeanor counts of Mn. Stat. 609.43 MISCONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICER OR EMPLOYEE, and 4 felony counts of Mn. Stat. 609.495 AIDING AN OFFENDER). To file the complaints against Judge Hoffman, Triemert packaged all the criminal complaints against Hutton, Starry, Hodsdon, Orput, and Hoffman in one big envelope and mailed them Certified, and Restricted, to the Foreman of The Grand Jury with the words in black letters "RESTRICTED DELIVERY – DO NOT OPEN IF YOU ARE NOT THE FOREMAN OF THE GRAND JURY!" and enclosed a letter to the Foreman to acknowledge to Triemert by phone or mail that he or she had received them. Unfortunately for the interest of justice, the package of criminal complaints never reached the grand jury; its been 5 months now. Triemert thereby accuses the Washington County Attorney’s Office of Obstructing U.S. Mail (a felony), Tampering With Evidence (a felony), and Obstruction of Justice (another felony).

Triemert then sent Don Ziegler, mail services person for Washington County who signed for the package, a certified letter asking what happened to the criminal complaints, but he never responded. Triemert then sent a complaint online to the United States Postal Inspector inquiring about the whereabouts of his package – The USPS never responded. It seems that our own federal government is more than willing to support the corruption and outright criminal acts of our local government officers if it means that they themselves can remain in business (power) another day.

Triemert, continuing his search for truth and justice, then filed 3 Minnesota Lawyer Professional Responsibility Complaints against Assistant Washington County Attorney, Richard Hodsdon, and he filed 1 Minnesota Lawyer Professional Responsibility Complaint against Washington County Attorney Pete Orput. Once again, Triemert was running out of steam and he let Orput off with only writing one complaint against him. The Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility replied to the complaints with 2 form letter(s) to the complaints with the heading "Determination That Discipline Is Not Warranted Without Investigation". Say again??? With this experience behind him along with some research on Rule of Law Radio, and Bar Grievance, Triemert came to the realization that the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility is nothing more than a public relations firm for corrupt attorneys, and whom of which have become the poster child of "irrelevance" in speaking terms of professional conduct, ethics, or the rule of law.

Triemert has yet to file Judicial Conducts Complaints against Washington County Judge John C. Hoffman. From what Triemert has gathered from information in the pro se community, the Judicial Conduct Committee is just as corrupt as many of the judges who sit on the bench in Minnesota, and about the only time these judicial committees will discipline a judge is when one is caught on video tape beating the living daylights out of his defenseless teenage daughter with a belt for using the internet, as Texas Family Court Judge, William Adams, does here – (Warning – Graphic Youtube Video!)

With all of the criminals employed by Washington County working in a concerted and systematic effort to block every possible means Triemert has available to him to petition government for redress of grievances as it is our Constitutional First Amendment Right to do so, Triemert had no choice but to file this Federal Civil Rights Lawsuit against Washington County, Sheriff William Hutton, and Administrator James Schug.
